Born in 1953, originally from Scotland Les holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree and postgraduate Diploma in Architecture from Edinburgh Art College and Heriot Watt University. Les is a principal of the Douglas Wallace Architecture group and has been client director on a number of projects including Sligo Shopping Centre, Katowice Central Area Masterplan, Bank of Ireland, Galway, Trim masterplan, Mill Road masterplan, Obriens reposition, Drury Street project. Overseas projects in Poland including 50000 sqm shopping centre in Elblag, Les has specialised in retail and public space design since 1984 when he worked with Fitch and Conran Associates having completed 8 years with Ahrends Burton and Koralek.
