The Castlebar feasibility design project is for the proposed redevelopment of an existing surface level car park and surrounding  retail premises in the centre of the town. The development will accommodate 40 new units, including retail, leisure and restaurants as well as a 6  screen cinema and 40 residential apartments above – which will be accessed from a new regenerated riverside walk. Basement parking for 500 cars and a service yard are proposed within the development.

This human scale development is intended to give a heart to the town of Castlebar by creating new quality open spaces and attractive pedestrian links to the existing town centre.
