We began working with the Eason group in 1997 developing new and refurbished stores in areas such as Blanchardstown, Pavilion Swords, O'Connell Street and Dawson Street in Dublin.

In 2004, we received a new brief from Eason which we carried out in conjunction with UK design firm Fitch. Our Eason brief did not require a revolutionary change of design for their retail outlets. They wanted to introduce evolutionary change, retaining and enhancing the values of Eason, but creating a cleaner, more subtle design approach with enhanced customer focus and greater emphasis on quality in design. Central to the design is a refreshed identity now used consistently and to better effect on customer information and directional signage.

The 5000 sq ft outlet in Newry was used as a prototype where the initial design was tested and finally set down in a design manual for the client. The Newry project had a two phased implementation process over 7 weeks which enabled the store to be completed successfully without the store having to cease trading.
