Our brief was to implement the design of Ireland's first stand-alone Hugo Boss retail outlet in Dundrum working in collaboration with the Hugo Boss in-house design team. The design of the store creates a very clear distinction between the ground and mezzanine levels. The shopfront is simple and understated. Casual wear has been positioned on the ground level with suits located in the mezzanine space. The luxurious nature of the Hugo Boss product required a generous amount of circulation space for customers. Our main design challenge was to incorporate two huge structural columns which ran through the space whilst also providing an extra degree of width between gondolas.
